Dyes in History & Archaeology

7-10 October 2025

The 44th annual Dyes in History and Archaeology meeting (DHA 44) will take place in Ottawa from Tuesday 7th October to Thursday 9th October 2025, coordinated by the Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI), the National Gallery of Canada (NGC), and the Canadian Museum of History (CMH). The conference will consist of a three-day programme of posters and presentations at the NGC, with a dye workshop featuring Indigenous dyeing techniques and materials, for interested participants following the conference on October 10th.
